Windows Printer Errors

1) If single paper cannot be loaded:

-CSF {automatic sheet loader} may apply.

- Turn off the CSF printer setup (from the control panel).

2) If the print is too light:

The ink cartridge may be empty.

-The ink in the nozzle of the cartridge may have dried out due to the long waiting period.

Check the cartridge.

3) If the cartridge is full but not printing:

There may be ink drying or contamination on the ink tip of the cartridge.

-If there is, press the "clean" button of your printer.

4) If the print is smudged:

- There is cracking in the ink tip of the cartridge or the cartridge cradle, so the ink is leaking.

The cartridge needs to be checked.

5) If the printer is not printing:

-The definition of the printer may be wrong from the software used, check it.

-Check the parallel printer connection, the ink cartridge may be empty, replace the cartridge.

6) If the print is sticking out of the paper:

-Set the page sizes from the software used.

7) If printing mixed ASCII characters:

-The wrong printer model may have been selected from the program in use.

Check the printer settings. There may be a problem with the parallel information cable.

8) If all the lights on the control panel are on and the printer is not working:

- Turn the printer off and on, if the problem persists, try changing the parallel information cable.

9) If it says tightly:

- Check the font switch in the control panel.

10) If it says too bold:

- Change "quality" mode from control panel devices in control panel.

11) If it doesn't pick up paper:

Check the paper tray.

There may be a problem with the paper receiving mechanism.

Check using the printer's user manual.

12) If the printer works sometimes and sometimes gives an error:

If there is a parallel port, connect from there.

- If there is no parallel port, a good quality USB cable should be purchased.

-Add a license.

- Reset the printer to factory settings
